In the past, I offered trend and brand strategy work that aimed to define your target market, your objectives and your next steps for developing your brand or product. Having had experience with both the creative and business sides of product, I understand both inspirational direction as well as market strategy to best keep your business on track and I have worked with brands small and large in a variety of capacities.

Now, with 20+ years of forecasting experience, the growing message about sustainability- one that I have been following for over 15 years- is guiding Ace of Swords. As my passion, I am working towards helping clients develop their own sustainable voice, with consulting in the home or workspace. No judgement, just working towards the goal of lessening your environmental footprint.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Britt Bivens has been working in and around the fashion and jewelry industries for more than 20 years in three different countries. Since arriving in New York in the 90s, she has worked with clients in a variety of sectors while with Promostyl, the original trend agency based in Paris, and in her own ventures. She has been quoted in publications and spoken at universities, trade shows and industry events globally on trends and sustainability.

With a background that includes trend forecasting, marketing and retail, she has consulted with larger corporations and small start-ups advising on branding, strategy and cultural analysis. She was appointed to leadership roles on high-profile projects with luxury brands that encompassed assembling and directing teams to create ambassador building experiences, operations and managing cross-departmental KPIs.

She has taught fashion and marketing related subjects in the business departments at Parsons and Fashion Institute of Technology and has also led professional development workshops.

Well-versed in the sustainability arena, she is knowledgeable about sustainability practices in the food, fashion and jewelry businesses. Special interests of hers include clothing upcycling and repair techniques, natural dyeing and composting. In 2022 she became a graduate of the NY Department of Sanitation’s Zero Waste Academy and began working on the Master Composting Certificate.
